alwayseasy rental, Acommodation for 6 persons in San Sebastian
In the neighborhood of Antiguo, just behind the Miramar Palace, it is our row house Aranzazu, a beautiful three-floors accommodation for up to six people. It is located in a small residential area very close to Ondarreta beach, just in five minutes walk. It is in a quiet environment, in the neighborhood of Antiguo. Once you pass the tunnel at the end of La Concha promenade, under the Miramar Palace, you enter to the Antiguo, a neighborhood with its own life and traditions. With some tourist attractions like El Peine de los Vientos (The comb of the wind), the  Monte Igueldo amusement park and the Ondarreta beach. It also has very good access to the city center, with public transport which runs every five minutes or taking a fifteen minute walk  along La Concha.  Just stuck to the urbanization we find the most authentic street of the Antiguo neighborhood, the Matia Street. A street with excellent trade, for example the excellent butcher Garmendia or Super Matía market where you can find top quality products. We also recommend you to try the cuisine of the Antiguo. You will find excellent restaurants, for example Rekondo Restaurant, at the foot of  Igueldo mount,  has one of the best wineries in the world. Another good example is the Branka Restaurant, next to the Peine de los Vientos. The Oliyos, La Bernardina or Txubillo are also excellent restaurants in the area. The residential area of the row house has its  own history.  It was built by  Maria Cristina queeen as an annex to Miramar Palace to accommodate his entourage during her stays in San Sebastian. Queen regented from 1886-1902, until was succeeded by her son Alfonso XIII, and had a very special relationship with San Sebastian. Every summer came on hollidays, so she built some houses to accommodate court employees. Subsequently, these houses became the Virgin of Aranzazu urbanization. In the row house can comfortably accommodate six people,  it has three bedrooms, one for each floor. It also has 150 square meters so you will not have the feeling of being crowded. always easy rental blog isla apartment 1
Going up the slope of Miraconcha Walk, which runs parallel to our famous beach of La Concha, just in 5 minutes walk, we found the building where is our new apartment. Is a bit unusual building because of its terraces but, especially, because of the spectacular views from the apartment to the La Concha bay. The apartment, located on the fifth floor, is newly painted and decorated with great taste and delicacy by Ainhoa, its owner. When we pass the door, we are received  by a hallway that will discover this impressive and well kept house. First, the kitchen. Modern and fully equipped, with wine bar included, and windows that illuminate the central island and reflecting the red wall of the room. Opposite the kitchen is available a small laundry. Leaving aside arrived at secondary hall, which distributes two of the bedrooms and a full bath between them. Spacious rooms with large closets and can accommodate two people each. One with large windows that allow natural lighting and the other with a floor to ceiling window that allows spectacular views of the bay of La Concha and Santa Clara Island. We continued along the pathway of the corridor, with a studied geometry through details buckler, to reach the principal bedroom: also spacious, bright and with large closets, from which you can access to the terrace of the main facade. Also spectacular are the views of La Concha from the apartment, but it is even more the private bathroom in which, as the star element, a large hot tub with a view of the very best of the bay of La Concha is located. The culmination of this marvellous house we have a large hall decorated with marine motifs almost like pieces of marine archeology. Comfortable sofas and armchairs make a comfortable and pleasant sensations, pleasantly lighted space through the windows of the room. In one corner of the grand hall, slightly elevated with respect to its height, it is the dining table with a capacity to accommodate eight people, surrounded by a large window that follows the rounded shape of the facade, from where you can see the entire front of our beloved Donosti: from the Old Town, past the Town Hall, the promenade and the Pearl, to reach the beach of Ondarreta and star as an element in the midst of this landscape, the island. The apartment also has a third bathroom, with shower, independent of any private stay. All this set is completed with the terrace which is accessed from the lounge. With good beer outdoors on the terrace, which have a kinder seen of the city if it´s possible. The building environment is quiet and pleasant access. A few steps up a little further up the hill arrived at the Miramar Palace, a former royal residence, with gardens of exposed free access to the sea and the sun of afternoon spring-summer and even autumn, where sometimes a picnic-activity live music that delights visitors  also enjoys "Musika Parkean". From here you can go down to the Old Quarter, particularly renowned Matia Street, along which you can find good bars and restaurants (the Txubillo and Oliyos are our favorites). On the other side of the hill, out of our apartment building on the right, we can go down to the city center. We landed at the height of La Perla, one of the largest thermal circuits in Europe. It is always a good idea to drop by some hours to restore the body and head for example, with the beach bubbles feet. If we continue walking down the Paseo de la Concha, leaving the Narru (excellent bar and restaurant located in the Niza Hotel) to the right, arrive in five minutes walk, to the Alderdi Eder park, leafy gardens that precede the building of the townhall. And from this point, continue discovering the center and old part of the city. Definitely Island is the best choice for a relaxing holiday in San Sebastian.   Keeping calm with the breeze

always easy rental blog apartment in the san sebastian port
APARTAMENT IN THE PORT OF SAN SEBASTIAN. SPECTACULAR, AND NOT ONLY FOR ITS LOCATION   Capacity: 4 persons Surface: 100 m2 Location: Old Part Rooms: 2 CHECK IN   The new apartment of Always Easy is a spectacular duplex in the heart of the port of San Sebastian. Of about  100 square meters with two bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large living dining room and a kitchen... From its living room, located on the principal floor, we can enjoy incredible views over the harbor and the bay of La Concha through the window that occupies the entire width of the room. This living room has a big table for six persons and and a gigant L shape sofa where you can gather all together in a cozy and pleasant space with the San sebastian port as background. The kitchen is spacious and modern, located also on the principal floor and it is fully equipped. It has two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. The main is located on the principal floor and has a lovely and wide dressing room and bathroom with shower and whirpool. His window overlooks the old town of the city. From the principal floor, downstairs, we find the second bedroom which also has built-in bathroom. The bedroom has a little living room equipped with sofa and table. Large windows make it bright. Also there is the possibility of renting the garage in the same building, a highly recommended option if you come by car.   THE PORT  One of the greatest charms of the apartment is its location, the Port of San Sebastian. This is one of the oldest places in the city as San Sebastian was founded by the king Sancho "the Strong" as a seaport of the kingdom of Navarre in the XII century. The port is located in the eastern part of the bay of La Concha, under Mount Urgull. It has a triangular shape and is small. It used had two zones, one for fishing boats and other pleasure boats, but now it has become just for pleasure boats. ACTIVITIES IN THE PORT In the port there are three of the most interesting things we can do in San Sebastian, visit the Oceanographic Museum, the Aquarium; enjoy a pleasant promenade aboard the catamaran "City of San Sebastian" and also you can take the motorboat to visit the Santa Clara island. The Aquarium: It is the building that dominates the port from its high position at the eastern end, facing the bay of La Concha making it visible from any point. This is one of the best oceanographic museums in Europe. With over one hundred years of history, its construction was driven by Prince Albert of Monaco in the early twentieth century. We can find two differenced areas: the museum and aquarium. The museum traces the long history and seafaring tradition of Gipuzkoa: merchant tradition, fishing, whalers ... But certainly the highlight of the Aquarium is its impressive aquariums area, a total of 31 of them in which we would find all kinds of Cantabrian marine species, and even tropical Atlantic ones. What stands out above them all is the tank known as oceanario. A large tank crossed by a tunnel that gives a 360 degree perspective of a large number of species, including two sharks that have named Txuri and Urdin referring to the colors of the city. Catamaran City of San Sebastian offers a different perspective of San Sebastian, from the sea ... It goes out every hour from the port and makes a journey of about 40 minutes in which can be seen La Concha bay, The Comb of the wind, mount Igueldo and its lighthouse, the island of Santa Clara, Paseo Nuevo, surrounding Mount Urgull and Zurriola beach ... a complete tour that will give you a unique perspective of San Sebastian. Motor boat to the island Santa Clara: If there is something that makes La Concha unique is the island of Santa Clara. Few cities in the world have the privilege of having an island in its bay ... During  summer months, you can visit it, have a beer at the bar or take a dip in the tiny beach or in one of its hiding places. A essential excursion... There is a regular shuttle service from the port to the island from June 1 to September 30. PORT RESTAURANTS In the port we would find, from May to October, a variety of restaurants specialized in Cantabrian grilled seafood, of course always fresh. From Always easy we highlight two of them: Sebastian Restaurant: One of the restaurants located in the basement of the port buildings. It is completely exterior, so you must eat outside, fully integrated in the environment of the port. Restaurant La Rampa: We find it almost at the bottom of the harbor. It has both terrace and indoor dining, which makes it the most recommended for the coldest days. On the other hand, we can not ignore one of the most outstanding restaurants in San Sebastian, both for its views and for its cuisine. This is the Bokado restaurant, led by the group of the same name. It is located just above the Aquarium and has a large window from which you can overview La Concha.   THE AREA The remarkable thing about the location of our apartment Puerto is not only the place but also their situation in relation to other points of interest in the city ... Note that you'll find yourself at two minutes from the beach , and  next to the Old Town, where you will find all the donostiarra environment in bars, restaurants and shops. Do not forget Urgull Mount and the remains of military fort that formerly surrounded the whole city. Right from the back of the apartment building, there are some stairs to start the climb up the mountain. As we climb, we find remains of the militar city, such as the battery of the ladies of the governor. We also found the English cemetery. If we continue climbing up, we will find one of the strangest bars of San Sebastian... El Polvorín. With a spectacular terrace with views over La Concha. Being essential to take something there on a sunny day. If we go into the Old Town, we will reach to the Plaza de la Constitution. It is one of the most famous places in San Sebastian for being the epicenter of its most important festivity, the day of San Sebastian and the fair of St. Thomas. It has a square form and the first thing that strikes us are its windows, all identical and with a number above that refer to the boxes that were those windows, because it also was used as a bullring. There is the possibility to have a drink in one of its terraces, although it is advisable to take care as the prices are quite high and not always worth what we pay...  NEARBY ESTABLISHMENTS Atari gastroteka: A young classic in the old part. Their pintxos and cocktails are very famous. Good at every time of the day. Gandarias: Situated in 31 de agosto street is one of the most famous restaurants in Donostia, because of their pintxos and the restaurant, especialized in traditional basque food. 90 grados: a multi-space of 400 square meters in the Old Party founded by of the most important stylists of the city, Marcial Muñoz. The space includes hairdresser, boutique, perfumery and art space. Undoubtedly, the great reference in trends and fashion. Pastelería Oiartzun: one of the patisseries of reference in the city, and certainly the most valued. They have traditional cakes like its Basque cake, but also include new periodic creations. Everything they sell is cooked in its own workshop, so you will not find any industrial element.  TO CHECK IN THIS APARTMENT Keeping calm with the breeze

It consists of a space in which the unique separation element is a thin glass that separates the bedroom from the rest of the apartment, and this makes its 75 square meters seem to be a unique lounge…a huge suite. The walls and ceiling of the apartment respect the original construction of the building, leaving the stone exposed and with warm wood beams, that gives it a very unique character. Also, the floor of the apartment, bathroom included, is made of the best quality, which provides a continuous touch of warmth. Once you enter, at one side, we find the kitchen. Modern and functional. With a useful island, which acts as differentiator with the living-dining room. On one side of the kitchen, there is a little room that houses the washer and dryer. The area destinated for living-dining room dominates the apartment. Situated at its center, it stands out the big L shape sofa with 8 seats, from which it can be get an overview over the rest of the apartment. Separated from the living-dining room by a thin glass, we find the main bedroom. And from here we can enter the bathroom, with an original brick face view of the building. The whole apartment is exterior, facing Embeltrán street, in the Old Town. THE AREA The apartment is located just in the entrance to the Old Town, epicenter of city life where we can find the best bars of pintos and restaurants in the city.   If you want to make a “pintxos” tour, give a look at the Always Easy rental´s pintxos guide in Old Town in which we suggest several bars you will enjoy.   Just going out the apartment, 20 meters to the left, it stands Donostia tourism office. Essential if you want to know San Sebastian thoroughly. And if you want to explore the whole city, the best way to do it is by bike… Just out of the apartment to the right, we will find Westside, a shop where you can buy and rent urban bikes, skateboards and surf.   Getting into the streets of the Old Town we have Pukas, the most important surf brand in San Sebastian. It consist of a traditional market where we could find any kind of fresh product of excellent quality. It also has a supermarket and a small mall with several textil shops.   But the Old Town has life not only at night. Also is the area of reference of the nightlife of San Sebastian. RESTAURANTS If you like to eat something in a restaurant, you also have some good options… Astelena Restaurant: in Euskal Herria street, perpendicular to the Urumea river mouth, we have this restaurant directed by chef Ander González. Recently renovated, we can find a very good modern gastronomy at good price. Saigon: in the building of the Hotel Maria Cristina there is located one of the best asiatic restaurants in Donostia. High level cuisine for tasting something different. Café Kursaal: on the opposite bank of the river, in Ramon Maria Lili street, we can find Café Kursaal. If you turn right from the apartment, crossing the Boulevard Mall and after the river, we will find Zurriola beach, whose epsilon was built in 1994. Nowadays, it is the beach with the most youthful and cosmopolitan atmosphere and where, if you feel lively, you can learn how to surf. Over the beach, the Kursaal building stands out, symbol of the San sebastian of XXI century, which resembles two rocks stranded at the mouth of the river.   Gipuzkoa Square. Close to the apartment, crossing the Boulevard Mall, there is Gipuzkoa square and its gardens, escorted on one side by the building of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa. always easy rental blog centric flat in san sebastian 1
In the fifth floor of a building of the expansion of the city is our apartment, which we called San Martin for being located in the street of the same name. A centric apartment in San Sebastian whose outer semi-space and its new furniture give it an urban touch that will delight our guests. It is located near the known as gold mile of San Sebastian, Loiola street, where you can find all kind of trade and, of course, without giving up being only five minutes away from the beach.   SAN MARTIN APARTMENT Surface: 65 m2 Rooms: 2 Beds: 2 double Bathrooms: 1 RESERVE   The San Martin apartment has 65 square meters, two double bedrooms a bathroom and a semi outer space which makes it special. This space, which is accessed from the living room and from one of the rooms, is a terrace has two different zones: an outdoor area where you can spend the most pleasant days and another covered area with a puff, cushions and "chill out" ambient light. An ideal place to relax with a book, for example. The furniture is new, and our team has tastefully decorated it with modern, practical and simple furnishings, thinking of the guests that will stay in it. The two rooms are exterior ... one gives to the terrace and the other to the outside through a window. Both have comfortable double beds, and are spacious and bright. The bathroom is spacious and fully equipped, as well as the kitchen, which is accessed through the modern lounge. It is, in short, a comfortable apartment, where you may feel at home and where you can enjoy the summer in San Sebastian.   THE AREA   The apartment is located in San Martin street, one of the main arteries that runs through the center of San Sebastian and connects the beach of La Concha with the Urumea river, crossing points of interest such as the  Buen Pastor square. In addition to being in front of the Buen Pastor square and very close to Loiola street and San Martin market,  only 200 meters separates the apartment from the most famous beach of the city.    THE SHOPING STREET.... LOIOLA If you like shopping, this street will delight you, because it is the epicenter of San Sebastian´s trade. You will find fashion stores, perfumeries, jewelry, etc. Market San Martin combines within the same building traditional trade with modern textile shops or technology, like Zara and Fnac. You can also find different trade around this area, such as Urbieta or Getaria streets.   WHERE TO EAT Café con leche: a great discover. Essential to go thorugh and try their spanish omelette. Made with no onion or ... with caramelized onion, a real treat !. This is a small and discreet establishment, which will not draw much your attention at first sight but that undoubtedly has one of the best spanish omelettes in town. Iturrioz: In the arcades located in front of the Buen pastor square, we can find one of the pintxos bars that, although it´s a lifetime bar in Donosti, is being modernizing and renewed very often. This is the Iturrioz bar which continues in the same place since 1935. We recommend its pintxo "tako tako", whose main ingredient is the octopus.  Bide Bide: A bar-restaurant "for all". Whether you want to have breakfast, take some pintxos, eat a combo plate or dinner, Bide Bide offers a wide range of alternatives, which makes it a very popular bar in the area.   WHAT TO SEE   BUEN PASTOR CATHEDRAL In front of the apartment, slightly down the street, there is the Buen Pastor Cathedral, built in neo-Gothic style. The tower can be seen from almost any point in the city. An excellent visual reference to return to the apartment. As a curiosity, tell that the Buen Pastor Cathedral and the Basilica of Santa Maria, located in the Old Town, have direct line of sight.   URUMEA RIVER AND ITS BRIDGES A few meters away from the apartment, up to the end of the street, we found the Urumea river with a pleasant promenade that ends in the river mouth to the north and Amara neighbourhood to the south. Zurriola , Santa Catalina and Maria Cristina Bridges: a very interesting option to take a walk and see the three famous bridges of the city.   AND THE BEACH? One of the attractions of being hosted in an apartment in the city centre, is the proximity to the beaches: La Concha beach is the closest, just 500 meters far from the flat. A little further (although still a few minutes walk), we find Zurriola beach, located in the neighborhood of Gros and flanked by modern Kursaal building and the wall of Sagües.   Apartment San Martin is, therefore, a flat with multiple advantages: it is centrally located within walking distance of almost all points of interest in the city;  is comfortable, its terrace with chill out area makes it a very nice floor room during the summer; is bright as it is on the fifth floor of a six-storey building. And if this still is not enough, it is newly furnished.   RESERVE   Keeping calm with the breeze
