From its coast you can see the neighboring country France. It is a tourist and residential town, and it is also where the airport of San Sebasti\u00e1n (EAS) is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kale Nagusia<\/strong> (Calle Mayor in Spanish) is the narrow street that takes you to the Church of Santa Mar\u00eda de la Asunci\u00f3n and del Manzano, passing by historical buildings of the place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alwayseasyrental.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Calle-Mayor.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-114\" width=\"842\" height=\"561\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alwayseasyrental.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Calle-Mayor.jpeg 800w, https:\/\/www.alwayseasyrental.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Calle-Mayor-360x240.jpeg 360w, https:\/\/www.alwayseasyrental.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Calle-Mayor-768x512.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 842px) 100vw, 842px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few meters from the church is the <strong>Plaza de Armas<\/strong>, one of residents favorite places, it is surrounded by beautiful traditional houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to sitting down to have a drink on one of its terraces, it is worth going to the Tourist Office to get all your questions answered about the town regarding it&#8217;s rich history and make sure you get the full experience.. Among the most interesting points of the defensive wall are the Puerta de San Nicol\u00e1s, another of the old entrances to the walled city and through which a drawbridge is crossed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alwayseasyrental.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Muralla.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-120\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alwayseasyrental.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Muralla.jpeg 900w, https:\/\/www.alwayseasyrental.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Muralla-360x240.jpeg 360w, https:\/\/www.alwayseasyrental.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Muralla-768x512.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the beauty of the city of Hondarribia there is the <strong>Plaza de Gipuzkoa<\/strong>, located in the old town that maintains its medieval appearance making you feel like you\u2019ve travelled back in time. The construction of this square was done in the last century faithfully following the guidelines of the traditional Basque architecture of the entire old part and thus maintaining a harmonious whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alwayseasyrental.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Plaza-Gipuzkoa.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-129\" width=\"841\" height=\"427\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another plan that you can do is to walk through the picturesque neighborhood of <strong>La Marina<\/strong>, located next to the old port and the place where fishermen used to live. On the ground floor of these houses there are numerous pintxo bars and restaurants with large terraces such as the recommended Gran Sol and some grocery and canning shops, perfect for taking home a souvenir in the form of the best gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alwayseasyrental.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Marina-Hondarribia-1024x630.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-117\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Behind the port, an area where you can have a drink on one of its terraces with views of the pleasure boats,you can see the very <strong>Large beach of Hondarribia<\/strong>.
