IN THE MIDDLE OF LA CONCHA BAY THERE ARE TWO RED LIGHTS...WHAT ARE THEY FOR?

There is something that like in Always Easy... and is to show the history and curiosities of our city... this time we bring something very unknown...

For the most of people of San Sebastian has been unobserved... There are two red lights in the middle of La Concha promenade. They are on in front of the other... both looking to the sea on a 3 meters mast.. and they are blinking...

The most of people don't know what are they for... here is the explanation...

They are signals to guide to the ships to entry to the bay... if you thread the boat with the tow lights, you will know wich course take to be safe of the shoals where run aground.

To know the exact situation of that imaginary road, there is no need to sail the bay. Just do an easy experiment: be on the base of the second pole looking to the first one, wich is close to the beach. Just to be in the opposite side to the boat that entries... this way you will see the correct way to enter to the bay.

Keeping calm with the breeze
